I have personally used all of this method to solve the SSL connection error in chrome. So that you can also use to resolve the connection issue in google chrome or firefox. Without any hesitation, you may go with any of the methods to solve and fix the SSL error.

How to fix SSL connection error in Google Chrome
For fix and solve the SSL connection error in google chrome you need to follow the following simple steps
First of all, click to the menu “Customize and Control google Chrome” at the top right corner.
Then you will get many menus, now click on the “Setting”.
Now one new window will open with google Setting menus and options. Drag the cursor to the bottom, and click on “Show Advance Setting”, after clicking the advance setting option will be expanded.
Now again drag below, you will see a network section, in network section click on “Change Proxy Setting”. You will get an pop-up option screen.
There are many tabs, click on Security>> Trusted Sites. Now set Security level for this zone is medium.
Now click on the Setting tab>> Select a setting for the internet zone is to Medium.
Now click on the Content tab, in certificates sections click on Clear SSL states.
Now you have done with Google Chrome setting to fix SSL connection problems and errors.
Correct the System Time & Date
First of all, you need to check the system time and date. If it is ok, then check the GMT and all the parameters of time and date. You can solve the SSL connection problem by simply correcting the system date and time.
So correct the date and time of your computer system, if time and date are incorrect, then try to browse the internet. If the issue of SSL is normal then that will be solved by changing the date and time of the computer system.
Change the Antivirus Setting
This process is for those users who have installed the antivirus on their PC, if you have not any antivirus on your computer system, then skip this method.
Antivirus setting is needed to be changed because many antiviruses are scanning the encrypted connection in the background, this process is the against the security of the SSL websites. So they do show the SSL error when they got such type of activity with your antivirus.
Follow the steps to change the Antivirus setting
- Firstly, close all the web browser completely, then navigate to the control panel of the antivirus which is installed on your computer system.
- Then, Setting>>>Advance Setting >>> Network.
- Now you will an option of scan encrypted connection, uncheck that option and then click ok.
